The easiest way to begin is to go to our website (www.FBITampa.org) to get answers to all your questions. You may also enroll online, using your credit card for payment through PayPal. You will receive a confirmation email from our registration department. Your textbook will be ordered and available for pick up during Student Orientation (July) or on the exam night for the remaining three quarters of the academic year. You will meet at one of our campuses on either Tuesday or Thursday nights for 9 weeks of classes. You will test at the end of each quarter on the 10th night of classes, pass your exam, and you will have completed that course toward the requirements for your diploma.

If a student is endeavoring to receive credit for the American Opportunity Tax Credit or for Lifetime Learning credit purposes, please note that qualified educational expenses are "tuition and fees required for the enrollment or attendance of taxpayer, his spouse, or tax dependent, at a post-secondary educational institution eligible to participate in the federal student loan program." Global University does not fit the IRS definition of an "eligible educational institution." The student should consult with his or her tax advisor for more information.

Motivation: We will provide the accountability that keeps you on task, moving toward your goal of obtaining credentials Student Interaction: We will provide a classroom environment that promotes exchange of ideas, beneficial dialogue and exposure to differing perspectives on the subject matter, You will be building relationships with your fellow students that you could not get with self-study programs Local Ministry Connections: You will meet and fellowship with many local Pastors and ministry leaders that are facilitating as FBI instructors. You will sit under the teaching of these experienced teachers who have been "in the trenches" of ministry life, many for several years. These benefits are also available in a normal Bible college setting. However, we realize that this is not possible for everyone. Therefore, FBI offers a viable alternative for the average person.

We have attempted to screen our instructors very carefully. Most (but not all) of them have academic degrees that uniquely qualify them to teach the subjects they have been assigned. In some cases, their practical experience or significant success in a given field has given them the authority to speak to their assigned subject. Even so, with over 50 people on our faculty, not every one of them will always hit a home run. Students will be given an evaluation form for every faculty member in every class. This will help us to make changes if, and when they are necessary.

We try to keep our costs minimal and avoid postage and handling by not having to mail anything. We do communicate with our students by e-mail; so, an e-mail account is necessary to receive our updates.
